Meet The Team

Sherry

Sherry Braswell

Board, Leadership Team

A passionate leader, entrepreneur and speaker who has been teaching the Word of God more than 20 years. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Sherry began her career in the wireless phone business. She excelled in the industry and started her own business which she ran for 21 years. Sherry began incorporating her Bible teachings into her wireless business in 1997. In the fall of 2007 she started writing weekly devotionals and sending them out through email.

After selling her wireless business in 2008 she built a successful networking business in the area of health and nutrition. This business took her into people's homes each week which opened the door to share Christ with them. It also gave her the opportunity to speak in front of hundreds and thousands of people at global events. Six years ago she started having Bible Studies in her home and ministering to women and teens. This led to "Divine Health for Girls, middle school and teen events, that teach young girls their identity in Christ. She officially launched Sherry Braswell Ministries in Nov. 2017. A common thread that has been consistently woven through all of Sherry’s business pursuits is her passion for Christ.

Sherry met her husband, Kent, through a friend and business partner in February of 1999, and they married that same year in November. They welcomed their first daughter, Kaeli, in April of 2002, and their second, Olivia, in June of 2006. They reside in Cary, NC and love spending time with their children at their home on Lake Gaston. They contribute the success of their marriage to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Together, their family lives through one of their favorite scriptures: Philippians 4:13 'Through Christ, all things are possible'; and they believe it is God’s will for them to carry this message to others.

“Since my days in the wireless business, God has placed a passion in me to teach His word.  I can’t explain it. I don’t really even understand it. I just know that He is calling me and the time is now.  I am totally dependent on His guidance, wisdom & leadership."

our mission statement

we are called

To set the captives FREE. This is the mission that Jesus left on earth for the Church to accomplish. To bring you out of bondage into freedom by renewing your mind with God’s Word. The warfare is in your mind. Whoever controls your mind controls you. If you are not free in your mind then you are not free.

To restore your identity. To open your eyes to your true identity, to the truth of who you are in Christ so that you may fulfill your destiny. Restoration of identity is KEY to unleashing your power over the enemy and walking in the freedom that Christ won for you.

we will teach

How to engage in spiritual warfare and live a let-go life free from worry, stress and anxiety. God has given the Church the victory against the enemy and his kingdom. It’s up to you to reinforce that victory by learning who to fight and how to fight. One of the reasons Christians become immobilized and ineffective in their callings is because they are unaware of the enemy’s tactics. (Ephesians 6:12). We are called to wage spiritual warfare at the highest level and train generals of the faith in God’s army.

you will learn

To take the authority and dominion you have in Him. To slay the giants in your life and take back the territory the enemy has stolen.

To encourage, lift up and equip you with the tools and strategies you need to live an abundant life. (John 10:10)

To turn from worry and become a warrior. Turn complaining into praises. Have life and have it in abundance.

To be prepared for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
